NEET 2022 UG Counselling

The NEET counseling procedure is a process of allocating seats in medical colleges by respective authorities on the basis of the rank and college preference of students. This NEET (2022) counseling procedure is done by two authorities: (a) The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is counseling for 15% of the All India Quota seats. (b) The state's counseling authorities for 85% of the state quota seats
There are generally four rounds of NEET counseling, which are: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round. Out of these four rounds, three are conducted online by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC). The counseling procedure is as follows:
The students will need to complete the MCC NEET registration process on the official website of MCC. To register:
Go to the MCC website, then click on the UG Counseling tab, which will display a registration link. Then, enter the required information and upload all required documents. The registration will include selecting preferences, seat locking, and paying fees. Following it, round one allocation will be done based on ranks, and candidates will be required to report to designated colleges. Later, the net vacant seats for round two are published, and registered candidates have to make new choices for round two seat allocation. This same process is conducted by different states for seats under the 85% state quota.

The start of the NEET-UG counseling registration will be very soon. It is expected that the registration dates for NEET will start in the first week of October. However, the MCC is yet to make an official announcement on its official website. For Registration:
1-Visit the MCC official website. Click on the UG Counseling tab, which will display a registration link.
2-Fill in all the required information and upload all documents very carefully.
3- The registration will include filling out forms, choosing a college, and you can lock in a seat by paying fees. Here, you just enter your details like NEET rank, category, gender, and domicile to get recommendations of all possible colleges and courses you might be taking.

According to your rank, you can get admission into these colleges through NEET counseling as well. They are under management quota seats. A list of colleges is-
