With a NEET MDS 2024 rank of 12,000 and 2A OBC + 371J reservation, your chances of getting a government seat in Karnataka are slim but not impossible. Seat allotment depends on cutoffs, category competition, and seat availability. Check previous year cutoffs for better clarity.

In general, NBEMS does not extend the last date of NEET MDS registration, unless there is a change in the eligibility criteria or internship cutoff date. The NEET MDS 2025 internship deadline has been extended from March 31 to June 30, 2025. Accordingly, NBEMS reopened the application window from April 3 to April 6, 2025. Originally, the NEET MDS 2025 application process was open from February 18 to March 10, 2025. 

Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences MDS cutoff is determined based on the applicants NEET MDS scores. The cutoff for MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery shows a fluctuating trend. In 2024, the last round closing rank for this course was 206, however, it was 168 in 2023 and 435 in 2022. The candidates who meet the cutoff criteria become eligible for admission in the PG programme. 

The needed rank to get into MGR Educational and Research Institutecourses ranged between 8955 and 19693 for the General AI category candidates. Wherein, the most competitive course was MDS in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. MGR Educational and Research Institute accepts NEET MDS scores, followed by couselling for admission to the MDS programs such as Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Pathology and Microbiology. However, there were no counselling rounds were released for the OBC AI category by the institute.

MGR Educational and Research Institute has been released till 5 rounds of NEET MDS cutoffs for admission to MDS courses. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Candidates can reach out to the NEET MDS officials for any difficulty in terms of application process, fees, document upload, admit card download, exam centre, and result or scorecard, to name a few.

Candidates can select only one exam city preference in the NEET MDS application form. The total number of NEET MDS 2025 exam cities was 59. It is expected that the number of exam cities will increase for NEET MDS 2026. Since only one exam city choice is allowed, candidates must choose the city closest to their present address. 

The NEET MDS 2026 internship cutoff date is expected to be June 30, 2026, based on previous years' trends. The actual date will be announced in the NEET MDS 2026 information bulletin. Last year, the original last date of internship was March 31, 2025, which was extended till June 30, 2025. In case a candidate is unable to complete the internship within the said date will not be considered eligible. Candidates must endeavour to complete the internship within the same date.   

There are two types of NEET MDS application correction window. In the first and primary correction window, and the final correction window. In the first or primary NEET MDS correction window, candidates can make corrections or changes in the informtion entered in the application form, except for a few fields. On the other hand, in the NEET MDS final correction window, candidates will be able to make corrections in the incorrect or deficient images of photograph, signature and thumb impression. Candidates will not be able to make changes in the images in the primary correction window and vice versa.
