Nehru Arts and Science College

Any candidate who has obtained a Higher Senior Secondary course certificate (Class 12) from the following list of boards is eligible to apply without the production of an ‘Eligibility Certificate’.

• Higher Secondary Certificate course (Class 12), conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu
•  All India Senior School Certificate course, conducted by CBSC
•  Delhi Senior School Certificate course, conducted by CBSC
•  Indian School Certificate course, conducted by ICSE

In case of candidates from other Boards/Universities, who normally need to produce an ‘Eligibility Certificate’ before admission, may also provisionally be admitted without an ‘Eligibility Certificate’. The original mark sheets and other relevant certificates of the above candidates should be sent for verification before the last date of admission.

Admissions to BA at Nehru Arts and Science College are made based on merit. Any candidate who has completed the HSC (Class 12) and obtained an HSC certificate is eligible to apply for BA at Nehru Arts and Science College. Applicants are ranked based on their merit in Class 12. Shortlisted candidates are then invited for a One-to-One meeting/interview with the Principal/HOD/Dean of the college. Candidates must carry the following documents:

• Class 12 marksheet
• HSC certificate
• Identification proof (Driving license/Aadhaar Card/Voter ID card/PAN Card)

After successful interview and document verification, students must pay the fees to complete their admission for BA at Nehru Arts and Science College.

1. Nehru Arts and Science College Application Process: After verification of documents, students will be given conditional admissions. Official formalities will be completed thereafter. There will be a One to One meeting/interaction of students and parents with the Principal, HOD and dean of the college. All the necessary data/photograph/details for ID card/measurement for uniform will be measured on the day of the Interview itself (to Digital Data Bank). After the successful interview admit cards will be issued to the students.

3. Nehru Arts and Science College Admission Confirmation: After completion of the selection rounds, the shortlisted candidates are called for verification of the documents. Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seats in the college.
