Generally, one needs to clear all backlogs to enter an MCA programme after a BCA. Most colleges have a rule that the student can apply for MCA as long as she/he has passed the BCA and cleared all subjects with backlogs. But, of course, eligibility criteria are strict in certain institutions where one would need no backlogs at the time of applying or admission. Thus, the best thing to do would be to check the specific requirements of the university you are interested in for accurate guidance on this matter.

New Horizon College of Engineering cutoff 2024 has been released for BTech and BPharma courses. KCET cutoff 2024 has been released separately for all the courses and colleges in the form of opening and closing ranks.NHCE Bangalore - New Horizon College of Engineering Karnataka PGCET Round 2 Seat Allotment ranks are out for admission to MBA/ MCA courses. As per Round 2,  MBA cutoff 2023 stood at 3501 for the General AI category, whereas for Round 1, the cutoff was 2596. As per the official NHCM website, the following documents are required during NHCM BCA admissions:

  • Class 10/ SSLC marksheet (original + two photocopies)
  • Class 11/ I PUC marksheet (original + two photocopies)
  • Class 12/ PUC marksheet (original + two photocopies)
  • Transfer certificate with caste/ category mentioned (original + two photocopies)
  • Caste certificate and family income certificate issued by Tahsildar authorized by the Government of Karnataka in case of SC/ ST/ OBC candidates (for Karnataka students only)
  • Photographs (six passport and four stamp-size)
  • Anti-Ragging affidavit on a stamp paper worth INR 20
  • Migration certificate (if required)

New Horizon College Marathahalli offers a full-time BCom course lasting three years. This course is offered in three streams: Executive, Professional and Executive + Dual Qualification. Students also have an option to puruse a four-year BCom (Hons) course. Yes, New Horizon College, Marathahallo offers a full-time BCom course at the undergraduate level. This course is offered in affiliation with Bengaluru North University (BNU). Hence, graduates get a BNU degree on completion of the programme. With a total intake of 200 students, the college offers the BCom programme in three streams: Executive, Professional and Executive + Dual Qualification. Students can opt for a regular three-year BCom or a four-year BCom (Honours) programme. Admission to the programme is merit-based.

Yes, NHC Marathahalli provides placement support to final-year BCom students. It also provides industry-oriented training for soft skills & aptitude, to prepare students for the recruitment process and the job. To be eligible to participate in the placement drives, the final-year students must have a CGPA of at least 6.75 during the previous years of the programme.
