Given below are New Mexico Highlands University admission requirements for an MBA course:
- The applicants are required to have at least a 3.0 GPA in undergraduate coursework. However, students with GPA between 2.8 – 2.99 may be provisionally admitted if space is there. Those students who are provisionally admitted with low GPA must earn a minimum of 3.0 GPA in their first 12 credit hours to remain in the MBA program
- All the applicants are required to have Computer Proficiency and be able to use basic tools of Business: Word Processing and Spreadsheets
- Applicants with an undergraduate degree in a field other than business are required

New Mexico Highlands University admission requirements for an MSc in Natural Sciences course are:
- Statement of education goals
- 2 Letters of recommendation from faculty
- Academic transcripts from all the previously attended regionally accredited institutes (3.0 or higher)
- English language proficiency score
