You will be then issued an admit card. Keep the card and the application form safely for the exam and future reference. You will then give the entrance test. Candidates are evaluated on different parameters such as aptitude, skill and knowledge. Due to this, the NIFT Entrance Exam is usually divided into four sections which are - Creative ability test CAT General ability test (GAT), Situation test and Group discussion/ Personal Interview. 5. Analytical Ability.

Go through last few years' paper of NID Entrance Exam or get sample papers from internet and try to solve. If you are able to score well or you can do preparation on your own, then it is okay or else join coaching institute.

This year's NID Entrance Exam is done. Next year, NID prelims exam will be in the first week of January and Mains will be in the mid of May.

If you are capable of self-study then you can do it yourself. Alternatively, if you cannot then you have to join coaching classes of preparation for NIFT/NID.
Arihant is a good book for preparation.

The application form will be released in the month of Nov-Dec 2019 and exam will conduct in January 2020. You have a good amount of time to prepare for NIFT/NID, start preparing from now.
