It basically takes three to six months to properly get ready for the NIMCET exam. Admission to MCA programmes is determined by the results of a test called the National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test, or the NIMCET. Each year, participating NITs provide admission to the Masters in Computer Application (MCA) programme through this entrance exam. Upon reviewing the syllabus and exam format, candidates are recommended to develop a customised schedule for themselves. All of the subjects and units that must be studied for the test should be included in the schedule while creating it.

Generally, a candidate should start preparing at least six months before the exam date. The NIMCET 2025 exam date has not been announced yet. The authorities will release the NIMCET exam pattern along with the brochure on the official website at nimcet.admissions.nic.in.
