Nirma University admits students based on both merit and entrance. For admission to particular courses, the institution takes scores from national entrance tests such as CAT, JEE Main, and others. One of Nirma University's BTech specialisations is computer Science engineering. There is only one admissions process for all BTech programmes. Those who wish to apply under the All India Category must pass the GUJCET or JEE Main exams. In addition to meeting the exam requirements, candidates must also meet the eligibility requirements. Candidates may apply to the BTech programme if they have completed the Science stream of Class 12 with an aggregate score of at least 60%, with Mathematics and Physics as well as any combination of Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational subject, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, and Entrepreneurship.

Nirma University admission is both entrance and merit-based. The university accepts national-level entrance exams like JEE Main, CAT, etc. for admission to specific courses. NU also conducts entrance exam for admission to some of the courses. Nirma University offers UG, PG, diploma, PhD and integrated programmes in multiple disciplines such as Architecture and Planning, Commerce, Design, Law, and Pharmacy.

STEP 1: Nirma University Application

Nirma University application forms for all the courses can be filled out online. Candidates have to pay an application fee to submit the form. 

STEP 2: Selection Process

Nirma University admission to most of the courses is entrance-based. Candidates are shortlisted based on national or state-level entrance exam like CAT for MBA, JEE Main/ GUJCET for BTech, CMAT for MCA and others. For some courses, admission is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Personal interview is also conducted for BBA, MBA and other courses.

STEP 3: Release of selection list

After the selection rounds are over, the university releases a merit list with the names of the students selected for admission to the respective course.

STEP 4: Payment of Admission Fee

The shortlisted candidates recieve an admission offer. After the final selection release, aspirants can confirm their seats by paying the admission fee.
