In BTech, the placement rate recorded in CSE, ECE and EEE branch was 100%, 68.22% and 85.71%. The highest package offered to students of these branch during placements 2025 was 52.5 LPA and INR 58.5 LPA.
In MTech, the best placement rate of 85.7% was recorded in Mathematics and Computing department. It was followed by EE (PES), ECE VLSI and CSE departments. The placement rate in these branch was above 70% and below 80% in 2025.

NIT Delhi offers good placements to ECE students. BTech ECE highest and average package offered in 2025 was 58.5 LPA and INR 15.24 LPA. The placement rate was 68.62%.
In MTech ECE VLSI, the highest and average package offered was 23.5 LPA and 18.85 LPA. The placement rate was 75.86%.

NIT, Delhi has a good placement record. The College provides in-campus placement as well and also provides ample internship opportunities for the students. The Placement rate of the college lies between 80-82%. The highest Placement was 25 LPA and the average Placement was 12 LPA. The companies visiting the college for Placements are Accenture, Cognizant, and HCL. Companies such as Amazon, Berger Paint, Blue Star, Capital First Ltd, Capital IQ, Care Ratings, Deloitte, Dun BradstreetInformationServices, and Dupont also provide Placement to the students at a high Placement rate. In 2023, NIT Delhi BTech placements had the highest and average package offered at INR 82 LPA and INR 17.72 LPA, respectively. Additionally, 88.3% of BTech placements at NIT Delhi in 2023 were filled. 2023 was the year that 89% of the entire CSE batch was placed. Aside from this, the average package offered during the 2023 NIT Delhi M.Tech placements was INR 14.91 LPA, while the maximum package offered was INR 23.13 LPA. 29% of candidates were placed during the NIT Delhi M.Tech placements in 2023. Additionally, during the previous three years, there has been an improvement in the average package offered for NIT Delhi BTech placements.

Placements at NIT Delhi are competitive. With the maximum package at INR 46 LPA and the average package at INR 10.054 LPA, NIT Delhi recorded an 88.8% placement rate in 2021.
