The eligibility criteria for NIT Nagaland is getting atleast 75% in class 12 ( 65% for SC/ST/PwD) and cracking JEE mains. For scoring a good rank in JEE Main a candidate must:

Segregate topics and work diligently and complete them in time.
Prioritise high weightage topics
Prepare proper notes and end time revision techniques
Practice is the key
Take mock tests because ghere is negative marking in the exam.

Which college is better among civil branch in NIT Nagaland and chemical branch in NIT Agartala?

NIT Agartala is much developed than Nagaland. So you should prefer NIT Agartala although you're getting a lower branch. But if you're interested in studying CIVIL engineering only then go for Nagaland, College doesn't matter much.
