NIT Patna - National Institute of Technology Cut-off

NIT Patna cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 5 for various categories including the OBC category students. As per the Round 1 cutoff, the closing ranks ranged between 14442 and 46400 under the AII India Quota wherein CSE was the most competitive specialisation. Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the General category under All India, opening rank was 18001 and closing rank was 22270. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 24149 and 30091. Admission to BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering in NIT Patna is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. 

NIT Patna BTech Mechanical Engineering round 6 closing rank for general All India category candidates for admission cycle of 2026 was 43035. Cutoff are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. 

The cut off ranks have changed from 22266 to 21654 for OBC, 79063 to 56352 for SC, 1884 to 70929 for ST, 18577 to 18303 for EWS, 415 to 292 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.
