The college library at NIT Raipur is quite big. The Central Library of NIT, Raipur has a good collection of  around more than 1 Lacs of print books, more than 1.7 lacs e-books consisting of both reference books and texts, Ph.D theses, online journal Archive collections and online protocols .

Candidates seeking admission to the courses offered at NIT Raipur, need to visit the official website of respective national-level entrance exam conducting bodies and fill out the application form in online mode.

• BTech aspiring candidates can apply for the programme on the official website of JEE Main and register for JoSAA counselling.

• For the M.Tech programme, the candidates are required to register on the official website of CCMT. For the rest of the courses, candidates need to register themselves on the official website.

• For MCA admission, candidates need to apply through the NIMCET exam followed by counselling. 

No, the National Institute of Technology Raipur does not offer a part-time M.Tech course at the postgraduate level. Candidates seeking admission to the NIT Raipur M.Tech course have to apply for the two-year full-time M.Tech course. NIT Raipur M.Tech admission is completely entrance-based and depends on candidates' performance in the GATE, a national-level entrance test for M.Tech admission. 

The National Institute of Technology Raipur admits students to the M.Tech course on the basis of valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) scores. Based on the entrance test scores, candidates are then called for the CCMT (Centralized Counselling) process for admission to the MCA course.
