I think. You are not able to get core branches like CSE; ECE in nits. Your chances are low. You need to compromise branch and college. But we are able to get NIT under HS quota. Try to attend more rounds. All the best.

Also, there are a lot of solved question banks for NATA and JEE Paper 2 exams, that would be helpful for you, more than this the sketching ability improvement would be a great addition for these exams. If you have confidence that you can get CS branch in any of the central government colleges then only I'll suggest you take a drop of 1-year, otherwise, not as you can also see what is the condition of the engineers in day to day life.
