Hello Tapas,
MAT score is only valid for the current you are giving. Hence, if you want to make your score secure for some time, then go for GMAT, as there you will have a chance to study abroad.
All the best.

As per NIT Silchar placement cell officials, the average annual package offered to students is Rs. 4 LPA and the highest annual package is Rs. 9.5 LPA during the campus placement.
Coming to teaching methodology there is a pre-decided course structure assigned to each of the departments, it depends upon the teacher who takes up that particular subject, some teachers are good at explaining the concepts while some moderate in such cases we always have video tutorials to our rescue which helps us to pass the exams.

Average package of electronic and instrumentation engineering is around 4-5 LPA. It is not a good option to choose. You should go with electronic and communication.

By going through the last years' placements statistics, cutoffs and ranking, VNIT comes on top. VNIT is better in every aspect. I will suggest you to go for VNIT.
All the best.

If your home state NIT is not one of the top NITs, you may get decent branches. And in other states you may get lesser established branches. You can try for admission you may get a NIT as you cleared your cut-off.

Here, admission is done through JoSAA counselling based on the rank obtained in JEE Mains. NATA score is also valid in here.
According to the stats of JEE Mains 2017 Paper 2, a rank of 2500 in B.Arch paper helps to get a seat in architecture and planing in VNIT-Nagpur. It is a pen and paper based entrance exam. The fee structure is also feasible here. The fee structure is INR 39100 per semester. Yes, it is affordable as there are many scholarships and loans are also provided for the students who are not capable of paying the fee.
I hope that can you clearly estimates the rank for ONB as well in VNIT through above details.
