The CSE branch recorded the highest placement rate during BTech placements 2024. Looking at the past three years' statistics, a fluctuating trend was recorded in the placement rate of almost all the BTech branches, except MME which recorded a declining trend. Refer to the table below for NIT Trichy placement rate trends for BTech:

The NIT Trichy CSE average package specifics are not yet available. However, the institute has announced the 2022 placement rate for the CSE branch of BTech. During the 2022 placements, 98% of CSE candidates were placed. In 2021, the placement rate for the CSE branch was 98.8%. Based on data from the previous three years, the CSE placement rate has been nearly constant.

At NIT Trichy, the highest placement package has changed throughout time. The highest package in the 2023 placement drive was INR 52.89 LPA. The largest package available in 2022 was INR 40 LPA. The pattern indicates that NIT Trichy's top package has increased recently.

The NIT Trichy CSE average package has not been released. However, the median package for BTech and M.Tech has been released in the NIRF report, which are as follows:

During 2022 placements, MBA was the top course with the highest placement rate, closely followed by MCA. The course-wise placement rate trends recorded during NIT Trichy placements over the past three years are also presented below:
