Both the NIT are good enough and have equal importance. Both the NIT provide good branch and have equally good placement statistics. NIT, Rourkela is one of the best engineering colleges in India. With the best infrastructure and very good placements, it gives many opportunities to the students pursuing engineering in this institute. The college not only welcomes the students to pursue engineering but also offers higher study opportunities. It has an updated curriculum and the best faculty. The college has the best infrastructure and with numerous facilities, it is one of the best colleges not only in East India but also in India. It has a huge campus area and ten hostels. Also, it has four nice restaurants on the campus. Auto facilities are available just in front of the hostels. Very good faculty and nice exposure. Always update the course which is helpful to the students. The course is always updated and the college has well-equipped labs and all kinds of modern technologies. Modern machines and equipment can be found in almost all the branches of engineering in the campus. Each branch of engineering has its own building. This college is one of the very few colleges to give admission in courses like ceramic, mining, and metallurgy. The faculty is very helpful. A proper and systematic way of teaching is done here. Hi,
Electrical engineering is one of the most demanding branches in engineering. All the NITs are good enough and maintain good standard in education as well as other facility. The placements in NIT Rourkela are good. The companies come and accept the students with good packages. PSUs recruit with the highest packages. Renowned companies like Schneider electric recruit the students for the internship as well as pre-placement offer. The branch has an average package of about 5-6 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: It has the second the largest campus area in India, and infrastructure is the beauty of this college. The institute has cricket ground, football ground, volleyball courts, an indoor hall for badminton, swimming pool, basketball courts, and court for lawn tennis are available for the students.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable with apt knowledge of the theoretical and practical application and have high experience. The students are impaired with apt knowledge of the subject and helping the students to get deep into the understanding. They inspire us a lot. My priority order would be:
