NMAT cut off score is the minimum score or marks required for shortlisting the candidate for admission or admission rounds. In simple words mean, the cutoff scores help in the screening process by which candidates can be shortlisted for further selection rounds, including the Group Discussion (GD)/Case Discussion (CD) and Personal Interview. The cut-offs list is determined by each participating college; therefore the minimum marks/ percentage required to for selection differs across different participating institutes.

NMAT participating institutes decide the cutoff scores for admission and to shortlist candidates for admission rounds. Several factors, including the previous year's cutoff scores, total applicants, total seats, candidate's performance, among other factors helps in deciding the cutoff scores.
Typically, the participating institute shall decide the NMAT cutoff marks based on the number of seats, total applicants, and previous year's cutoff scores. - Aggregate marks of candidates in the NMAT exam
- Total applications received for the programme

The NMAT 2022 Cutoff for NMIMS Hyderabad MBA, General-All India Category was 220. The NMAT cut-off 2023 is expected to range between 220 to 248 for admission to NMIMS Hyderabad MBA.

NMAT cut-off for Amrut Mody School of Management, Ahmedabad University last year was 155 Score.
