The campus is divided into three main areas: North Campus, South Campus, and the Medical Campus. The average SAT score for admitted students is between 1350-1510, and the average ACT score is between 28-33. However, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has altered some of its testing procedures as a result of interruptions brought on by the COVID-19 outbreak. SAT and ACT results can be self-reported by first-year applicants along with their application.
