The admission in IIMs to PGP programs are based on CAT percentile followed by WAT, GD, PI and work experience. The initial shortlisting of candidates is done on the basis of CAT percentile and this is above 80 percentile for all IIMs for general category. IIMs requires a Bachelor degree in any discipline with minimum 50% of aggregate marks from a recognized university under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 stream. Hence, what is the need of doing BBA MS 5 years of programme and NPAT entrance? Because when you are appearing in BBA final semester of exam, than you are eligible for appear in CAT.

The eligibility is as below. The candidate applying for the exam must have cleared Class 12 examination or equivalent. Also, this should be inclusive of International Baccalaureate Diploma in any stream. This Diploma must be attained from a recognised Board at first attempt. Candidates must note that IB Certificate awarded is not eligible
The candidate must have obtained an aggregate of 60% marks in 10+2 equivalent examination
It is compulsory for the student to have passed in Mathematics/ Statistics at 10+2 or equivalent exam
Candidates holding IB Diploma will be eligible only if he/she has Mathematics/ Statistics at standard level
