Though many government and private universities give admission based on CUET scores, NSHM does not come under the participating universities of CUET. The institute conducts an online test of its own "ENPAT" and a personal interview for admission. To be eligible for Bsc in psychology you have to be a 10+2 pass in any stream from a recognised board. Candidates appearing for Class XII final can also apply.

Just like any other private institute, NSHM is pretty expensive. The fee structure varies for different courses and for the course duration. But they also provide diverse range of scholarships and bank loans.  Asha Jyoti Scholarship given by NSHM is offered to students seeking admission in UG and PG courses. To be eligible for this scholarships your XII percentage should be above 70 for UG and 60 for pg.  If your Yearly Family Income is below Rs 5L then your minimum percentage should be 60 for UG course and 50 for pg. You can also look out for various national and regional scholarships.
