Hi,

In most cases, admission to the M.Sc. Nursing course is based on an entrance exam conducted by the respective university or college. However, some institutions may offer direct admission under specific circumstances, such as merit-based selection for students who have performed exceptionally well in their undergraduate studies. It's important to check the specific admission policies of the institution you're interested in, as they can vary. I recommend contacting the admissions office directly for clarity on whether direct admission is possible and what criteria apply.

Best of luck with your studies!

No, KEAM is no necessity for following the nursing courses. KEAM is mainly an entrance to pursue engineering courses and architecture courses besides the medical fields of Kerala state. For following the nursing course such as B.Sc Nursing universities and nursing colleges will conduct a test or, generally, gives admissions based upon Class 12 marks. Most institutions accept a national level examination known as NEET for gaining nursing admissions. It is, therefore, recommended to check on the specific requirements of admission by the nursing colleges one is interested in, since each college has different eligibility criteria.

To score well in your curriculum exams you need to have understanding of fundamental concepts and strengthen core basics and foundation of nursing. Along with theoretical knowledge, have experience in practical applications too and don't open your books or study material at last moments. Prepare well in hand and keep giving mock tests for personal improvement
