B.Sc in Nursing course is meant to develop some critical thinking skills, competence and standards in students required for the practice of professional nursing and midwifery. The course involves nursing of the wounded or ill. A lot of sectors require these graduates hence increasing its demand which is expected to increase in the future as well. The eligibility criteria for applying for the counseling rounds is disclosed by the university itself. Though it happens that all the students who have secured the rank get call from the college itself.

As you know there are only 100 seats. Right? Your rank is a bit on the lower side. But do not loose hope. You have chances till counselling against vacancies that will take place in September. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information.

Firstly, it is best to check with your teachers where you did MPH, as to availability of guide. Once it is confirmed, then you can follow the procedure required like clearing your entrance exam for Ph.D, and then deciding on the subject. Best wishes to you for your success in Ph.D.
