The minimum eligibility fopr PhD at Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities, OP Jindal Global University is having;
- Master's Degree in:
(a) Business Administration or Economics or Commerce or in allied subjects or in Engineering/ Technology with at least 55% marks
OR
(b) Post Graduate Diploma in Management recognised as equivalent to MBA by AICTE with 55% marks.
OR
- Professional qualification such as CA/ICWA/ CFA/ CS (both 5 year integrated or 3 years after graduation) with minimum 55% marks.
Applicants with more than 3 years of industry / teaching / practicing/ managerial / professional experience will be given preference.

JSLH, OP Jindal Global University offers a merit-cum-means Scholarship to its students. The eligibility criteria for the scholarship takes into account annual family income, XII board score, JSAT or standardized examination results and faculty interview score. Weightage will also be given to curricular and non-curricular achievement. Scholarship applications will be opened by the University by 1st June and will be awarded to eligible students in July every year.

The OP Jindal Global University admission process is entrance-based. So, students seeking admissions at the university have to clear their last qualifying examination and appear for the prescribed entrance tests. The foremost accepted exam is the Jindal Scholastic Aptitude Test (JSAT), which is the in-house entrance test, conducted for a large section of the courses. Other popular tests accepted for JGU Sonipat admissions include CAT, SAT India, MAT, JSAT Law, NATA, NIFT Entrance Exam, etc.
