Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (SKCET) accepts the TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) entrance exam scores for admission to BTech. The admissions are based on entrance scores and merit followed by state counseling. The college also considers the 10+2 examination merit scores for admission to undergraduate courses. Therefore, for admission to BTech at SKCET, the TNEA entrance exam scores are the primary requirement.

JEE ranks are not required to join SKCET, instead you to write TNEA or TANCET and get rank below 8000 to join SKCET and you should have atleast 50% or higher in class 12th.

With JEE main 500 rank, you can write JEE advance which can get you placed in IIT.

SKCET on the other hand has super good placements, so join as quick as possible.

To join B.Tech, JEE Mains is not necessary, and if you had attended JEE Mains and managed to get good ranks it will be a good addon to your profile.

Instead JEE main, TNEA or TANCET ranks play major role in getting seat at SKCET.

Check the required cutoff marks at official college website and go grab your seat immediately as it's a college well known for good placements.

If you want to check your merit,

• First you have to search for SKCET Cutoff marks provided with Year in Google or you can find it in the college website.

• Compare your cutoff marks (12th), your TNEA rank.

• Make sure you check under your caste category.

SKCET students got 97% placement last year so if you get a chance go ahead and join immediately.
