OPJS University selects candidates for BTech based on merit in the last qualifying exam. The university also offers admission to BTech through CUET-UG score. CUET is conducted once a year in over 500 cities in India and abroad in a computer-based mode. CUET exam is conducted in multiple phases depending upon on the number of candidates registered for the entrance exam. Once the candidate's performance is evaluated, the university releases a merit list. Selected candidates are required to pay course fee to confirm their admission.

OPJS University applications usually release in February every year. Currently, the applications are open for all OPJS courses. Candidates can apply online for any of the preferred course. The mode of application is online for all courses. Candidates need to fill out the application form along with the specified documents. Aspirants meeting the eligibility criteria also need to pay a non-refundable application fee.
