Oriental University admits students to its BTech programme based on their merit in JEE (Main). Hence, candidates seeking admission to the programme must apply and appear for JEE (Main). Candidates can follow the step given below to apply for the entrance exam required for BTech admission at the university:
- Visit the official JEE Main Registration NTA website
- Select the JEE Mains Apply Online option that says "New Candidate Registration"
- Select the preferred registration mode through Aadhar enrollment number/PAN/Passport
- Fill the registration form with the necessary data, and create a passport of your choice

Yes, BTech aspirants at Oriental University can avail a fee rebate under OU-Aspire scholarship provided by the university. The merit-based scholarships at Oriental University are awared to the BTech students based on their merit in JEE Main or HSC. Based on the information available on the university's official website, an applicant with a JEE (Main) rank under 5 Lacs is eligible for a fee rebate under Criteria 1 of OU-Aspire scholarship. BTech is one of the most popular among the programmes offered at Oriental University. Based on the Oriental University reviews given by students on Shiksha.com, not many company visit the campus for placement. Only a few companies, with job opportunities for students purusing BTech in CSE, ECE and IT streams were invited to the campus. For branches like Mechanical Engineering, there were very limited placement opportunities. The average rating provided by the students to the BTech placements at Oriental University is 2.6 out of 5.

The median package offered to the students pursuing BTech at Oriental University fluctuates every year. Based on the latest NIRF Report 2024 for Engineering at the university, the median pacakge offered across various BTech streams was INR 3.2 LPA in 2023. In 2022, the median package offered during BTech placements at the university was INR 3 LPA. The median package offered to BTech students in 2024 will be released with the release of NIRF report 2025.

The total seats at Oriental University for BTech are cumulative of seats among various BTech streams and specialisations offered at the university. The university has over 240 seats for BTech. There are 60 seats each for BTech in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The exact number of seats for BTech in CSE is not available. It must be noted that the mentioned number of seats has been taken from the official website of the university. Oriental University BTech fee varies across the BTech streams and specialisations offered at the university. For four-year BTech programme, the total fee ranges between INR 1.1 Lacs and INR 3.2 Lakh. The programme fee for BTech in CSE is higher than the other streams. The best course at Oriental University in terms of enrollment numbers and cutoffs, is not available officially on websites or anywhere on web . It has won some awards and by considering them it seems that their Engineering and Law programs might be among the most popular. The university has been ranked 38th in IIRF among 171 colleges and ranked 3rd in state level. It is highly for these disciplines and has established many corporate tie-ups for placements for these courses.

MBA in Data Analytics and Data Visualization has fees of INR 70,000 per year
General MBA had an annual fee ranged from INR 40,000 to INR 70,000 depending upon specialisation.
MBA in Marketing had a total tuition fee of INR 80,000 with an additional one-time admission fee
Hostel and mess have different fees which are to be paid extra. If you don't wish to live in hostels then above are probable tuition fees.
Looking at fees, it is not that expensive as compared to other MBA colleges.
