The faculty at OUCW is very good. They are highly educated. Most of them are PhD graduates and LLB. They have more teaching experience and their way of teaching is very good. They focus on each and every student and help them understand the concept. They clarify the students doubts even after the completion of the class.

The strength in OUCW is around 50-60 in each class or course. The B.Com UG students are less in number compared to BSc students. The student teacher ratios are also good. And they focus on each and every student and clarify the doubts of the students regarding the subjects.

For the first years, the college conducts an orientation programme which is known as induction programme for the students to give brief idea of the college and the courses. Attending the classes regularly is mandatory. Minimum 75% attendance for every student is necessary or else they are prohibited to write the internals as well as semester exams. And for the first years UG students there is no campus hostel facility so they must stay in a private hostel till the completion of their 1st year.

The college provides hostel facilities only to the undergraduate students not for the PG students. The PG students can opt for private hostets which are very close to the college within koti which is at walkable distance and with affordable cost. The nearest hostel is sri sai Santoshi hostel which is around 500 metres from the college. It is very easy to find hostels in this area for women.
