Osmania University is a reputed university that was ranked 22 and 46 under 'University' and 'Overall' categories by the NIRF 2022, respectively. Also, the university has been re-accredited by NAAC with an 'A+' grade. Therefore, it is a good option for admission to various courses. As per most of the Shiksha verified users, many students have been placed in various IT companies such as TCS, Wipro, Deloitte, Accenture, Infosys and core companies such as Deccan Fine Chemicals, Srini pharma, Larsen & Toubro, Welspun, etc.

University College of Science, Osmania University admissions are both merit and entrance-based. The college selects candidates for UG courses based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. Aspirants applying for MSc and MCA need to qualify CGPET and TSICET, respectively. Once the selection process is over, candidates are allocated seats via TS DOST to UG courses. No, the admission in Osmania University admission 2024 to PG, PG Diploma, and five-year Integrated courses is through its entrance test called Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (CPGET). CPGET is an online Computer Based Test (CBT). The final selection will be followed by an online counseling round. Apart from CPGET, the university also accepts GATE, TSICET, CMAT, Andhra Pradesh ECET and TS EAMCET, among others for admission to several undergraduates and postgraduate courses. Osmania University course admission is also merit-based to courses such as BA, BSc, and BBA.
