Yes, Osmania University's Department of Business Management (DBM) and its constituent colleges have an active placement cell that organizes campus recruitment drives for MBA students. The OU placement drive for the MBA batch of academic year 2024-25 saw students getting offers from Federal Bank, HDFC, Deloitte, Code Young, ICICI etc. The highest offer was INR 16 LPA at the Federal Bank.

Yes, you can pursue an open or distance MBA through Osmania University. It is offered via the Prof. G. Ram Reddy Centre for Distance Education (PGRRCDE). Admission to this course is through performance in the TG ICET or an entrance exam conducted by the PGRRCDE, OU. To be eligible the candidate must have completed a UG degree with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST/BC).

Admission to the Osmania University MBA course takes place primarily through the state-wide management exam, i.e., the TG ICET. However, some colleges under or affiliated with OU also take scores from other national level entrance exams like CAT, XAT, etc. into account. For example, the David Memorial Institute of Management MAT XAT, and CAT along with the TG ICET.

Tuition Fee of BA (Regular course) for all subjects is around Rs. 2662/- and the Special Fee is Rs. 3396/-. Therefore, the total fee amount for BSc will be Rs. 6058/-. Special Fees cover fees on the facilities provided by the college like magazines, library, reading rooms and so forth. Fees for BA (self-financing courses) may vary based on the specialization.

Yes, OU has an extra fee besides the tuition fees. It covers the cost of campus facilities such as reading rooms, library, laboratory, university magazine, seminars, Wi-fi charges, etc. In addition to that, if any student wants to stay in the hostel of Osmania University, then he or she has to pay extra money.

Getting into Osmania University ranges from moderately difficult to very competitive. Popular and elite programs (eg: Computer Science Engineering at the main campus college) require top-tier entrance exam ranks. Meanwhile, general arts, science, or affiliated college slots are much easier to secure.
