The candidate shall have passed the Second year Pre-University of XII standard or equivalent examinations held preceding the entrance test with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Electronics and has secured not less than 45% of the aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the languages of the study.

PA college of engineering offers wide range of courses at both UG and PG levels. There are approximately 13-15 courses at both the levels . For B.E./B.Tech course the tution fee is nearly about 3.9 Lacs and the eligibility for the same is 10+2 with 45% aggregate and KCET entrance exam. It is a four year course . For the course at PG level the tution fee for M.E./M.Tech is 1.3L and for MBA/PGDM course the fee is 1.2 Lacs .

KCET result normally comes out by the end of May or early June. Counseling sessions usually take place in June, 15-30, allotment of the seat takes place in July, 1-15 and the documents verification takes place from July, 1-20. For PA College of Engineering, the application closing date is June 30 annually and, the application takes 2- 3 weeks to be processed. The cutoff ranks are 10,000 – 20,000 for KCET, 50,000 – 80,000 for COMEDK, and 60 – 120 for JEE Main.
