No, the PGIMER BSc Nursing 2026 question paper will have objective type questions only. The candidates will be served with Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) out of which candidates have to choose one option.

No, the PGIMER BSc Nursing exam pattern has not changed in the past five years. No alterations in the same have been reported by the PGIMER, Chandigarh. The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, conducts the national-level entrance exam to facilitate admission into the BSc Nursing and Post Basic BSc Nursing. The eligibility criteria and the pattern of both exams are different.

No, PGIMER BSc Nursing will be conducted via online mode. PGIMER BSc Nursing 2026 exam will be a computer-based test and the applicants will be allotted separate computer systems to solve the questions. Applicants will get sheets to perform rough work at the centre. The rough worksheet will be submitted to the invigilator while leaving the exam hall.

No. There is no provision of negative marking in the PGIMER BSc Nursing 2026 exam. For every correct answer, the candidate will get 1 mark, and for every wrong response, -0.25 marks will be deducted.

No, the PGIMER, Chandigarh does not demand to send the hard copy of the filled application form via post to them. The PGIMER Nursing application process will be completely an online process and the applicants can upload the required documents online only.

No, there is only one type of PGIMER Nursing application form and is unilateral for all the categories, however, the reserved category applicants are eligible to get 50 per cent exemption in the application fee.
