Yes, according to the information available on the official sources of Poona College of Pharmacy, if a candidate is unable to attend the counselling and on-the-spot admission for the PharmD course at Poona College of Pharmacy at their given schedule, as notified on the website. They can authorise another responsible individual to represent them at the time of counselling. Moreover, the representative must carry the letter of authorisation.

The following certificate in original, along with two self-attested copies each of the same and one set of soft copies, is to be submitted at the time of counselling and on-the-spot admission for the PharmD course at Poona College of Pharmacy:

  • Entrance Test result
  • Class 10 and Class 12 results 
  • BPharm Degree for PharmD - Post Baccalaureate
  • Transfer Certificate/Leaving Certificate
  • Migration Certificate 
  • Gap Certificate, etc.

The deadlines to fill out a PharmD application form at Poona College of Pharmacy for the academic batch of 2025 have been released. The last date to apply for BVP CET 2025 was May 30, 2025. Moreover, the counselling process was held in June. Prospective candidates should look out for the upcoming 2026 batch.

To get admission into the PharmD course at Poona College of Pharmacy, candidates must complete the minimum eligibility criteria according to the Doctor of Pharmacy course chosen. Firstly, candidates must qualify for their Class 12 from PCM/ PCB with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for reserved category)/ BPharm course with an aggregate of 55%. 

For admission to PharmD, the college accepts BV PHARMUG scores, and for PharmD Post-Baccalaureate, the college accepts the scores of BV PHARMPG. Both of the entrance exams are conducted by BVDU under BVP CET.

Hey. PharmD is a 6-year course (5 years study + 1-year hospital internship) focused on clinical pharmacy and patient care. It's great if you're interested in working in hospitals, drug safety, or clinical research.

 

You can do it after 12th with PCB or after D.Pharm. Some top colleges offering PharmD in India are Manipal University, Jamia Hamdard (Delhi), LM College (Ahmedabad), and Bangalore College of Pharmacy.

 

Fees vary a lot — from ?3 to ?20 Lacs depending on the college.
