The two year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) programme is followed by 500 hours of practical training. It covers topics like pharmacology pharmaceutical chemistry and hospital pharmacy to prepare students for a career in pharmacy. Normally to be eligible students must have passed Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics in the 12th grade. The course provides fundamental understanding of pharmaceutical sciences along with useful skills for employment as a retail chemist, pharmacy technician or pharmacist.
