Yes, you can pursue a BA Honours in Physical Geography in Assam. Several colleges and universities in Assam offer this course. Like - Guwahati University: A well-known university in Assam with a good reputation for its geography department.

Cotton University: Another reputable university in Guwahati.

Assam University, Silchar. and also in Dibrugarh University.

Both of these are major geography branches. Physical geography is all about the natural features of the Earth. Human geography studies the human aspects of the Earth. Physical Geography is the study of the environment like - climate, soil, water etc., whereas Human Geography is the study of developments created by man.

Clinical Breas Examination (CBE) test is the physical examination of chest done by the medical health care workers to check for any lump or any other changes. Physical test is done to check out the over all physical health of a person. Medical test include several other test like blood examination to check for the proper physiology of body inside. Yes, you can get admission in government colleges for geography honours if you have studied that subject in your +2. Even if you haven't studied the subject but want to pursue this in graduation, some colleges deduct your marks accordingly and then you may get into a government college based on your merit. This was the system till 2022, however with the implementation of CUET you need to clear the entrance and then you can get into your preferred government college.
