IIT JAM Physics cutoff for the general category is 12.04. Candidates whose rank is above the qualifying rank are eligible for admission. Moreover, the JAM admission cutoff for rounds 1 & 2 is also available online.

The passing marks in CBSE Class 12 are 33%. In case candidates fail to achieve this by one mark, the grace marks are given to students. Students said that the Physics paper was tough and they demand grace marks for this paper. However, there is no update from CBSE regarding this.

The NEET eligibility criteria states that students who have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology along with English even as additional subjects from recognised boards and Mathematics/ other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English are eligible for NEET exam.
