Universities in Himachal Pradesh do not offer Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) through distance learning due to the course's clinical and practical nature. MPT programs, such as those at Career Point University or IEC University, are full-time, regular, on-campus courses only. No recognised distance MPT course is available in the state.

The syllabus of JMI BPT entrance exam is more focused on Physics, Chemistry and Biology that includes topics up to the level of Class 12th. Biology usually includes 50 percent marks, 25 percent marks each to Physics and Chemistry.Usually older papers are also available in the official Jamia Millia Islamia site (jmicoe.in) in the section of the "Entrance Test Syllabus" or "Previous Year Question Papers".
