Application Steps at NIMS Institute of Medical and Allied Sciences

Online Registration

Go to NIMS University's official website and register / sign‑up (email + mobile number) to create a login. 

Use the login credentials (or OTP) to access the application portal. 

Fill Application Form

• Once logged in, fill out the application form with personal, academic, and contact details, as required. 

• Upload scanned documents (photo, signature, academic mark‑sheets, etc.) as per specifications. Pay Application / Registration Fee

There is a fee to apply; amount varies depending on course (for many courses fee ~ ₹ 1,000; for some like B.Sc Nursing may be higher). 

Payment can be made online via net‑banking / debit‑credit card / UPI or as per instructions.

Entrance Exam (if applicable) — NIMSEE

For many UG / PG / allied‑medical courses admission is based on NIMSEE (or as per institute's entrance/exam policy). After the exam, candidates will get a merit list or rank based on performance.

Selection & Offer / Merit List

Based on entrance score (or academic merit, depending on course), institutes prepare merit list / shortlist candidates. 

If selected, you'll get an offer/selection letter via portal or email/contact details you provided. 

Seat Confirmation, Fee Payment, Document Verification

To secure admission, candidates must confirm seat, pay admission/tuition fees, and upload/submit required original documents (marksheets, certificates, identity proofs). 

After verification, admission will be finalized and classes start as per schedule.

 Step-by-Step Application Process for NIMS

1. Online Registration

   • Go to the NIMS University admissions portal (on their official website) and click on “Apply” / “Register”.

   • Provide your basic details: name, email ID, mobile number, state etc. The email becomes your login username.

   • You'll receive login credentials (or OTP) via email/mobile. 

   • Fill Application Form & Complete Profile

   • Log into the “Nims Admit Portal”.

   • Fill in the detailed application form — personal information, academic background, course applied for (e.g. Physiotherapy / Occupational Therapy), etc.

   • Pay Application Fee

   • For most courses (including BPT / BOT) the application fee is ₹ 1,000.

   • (Note: Some courses, like B.Sc. Nursing or Ph.D., may have different fee structures per NIMS's official “How to Apply” page.) 

   • Upload Required Documents

   • As part of online submission, you need to upload scanned copies of required documents: passport-size photograph (per specifications, e.g. 3.5 * 4.5 cm), proof of date of birth (e.g. 10th certificate), qualifying exam mark sheet/ certificate (e.g. 12th class marksheet) etc. File formats accepted include jpg, png, jpeg, pdf, bmp. 

   • Originals likely need to be shown later for verification (as per the website instructions).

   • Entrance Exam (if applicable) & Selection

   • For undergraduate courses like Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) or Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT), admissions are based on performance in the university's own entrance exam called NIMSEE.

   • Candidates are selected based on entrance exam merit, and then seat allocation/counselling (if any). 

   • Registration & Fee Payment (after selection)

   • Once selected, you must complete registration by paying the registration fee and a portion of the first-year tuition fee — per the timelines prescribed by the university.

   • Only then will your admission be confirmed.

2. Document Verification & Admission Confirmation

   • Submit/verify original documents (as required) — for example, age proof, qualifying exam certificates, etc.

   • Once fee payment + verification done, admission process completes and you get admission offer / confirmation letter via the portal.
