The aptitude test for pilots includes multiple choice questions based on Math and Physics of class 12th level, Logical and Spatial reasoning, and English comprehension.

IGIA offers CPL training with its associates in India, USA, Canada, Spain, New Zealand and Australia. You need to be 12th pass in Math and Physics. The CPL can be done for an investment of around 23 lacs for a single engine training and around Rs 28 lacs for a multi-engine training. Entrance exam to becoming pilot is Pilot Aptitude Test (PAT). PAT is a common name for entrance conducted by different institutes and flying clubs and schools. About PAT: This exam checks candidate's proficiency in Mathematics, English and some basics of air navigation, which consists of subjects like- Physics, Geography, Aerodynamics etc. Physics, English, Maths and Geography are totally 12th standard based. If we talk about any big or national based entrance, then it is WOMBAT. WOMBAT is conducted by Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Udan Academy (IGRUA) which is a national level entrance for getting admission into India's Best Pilot training

You need to have class 1 and class 2 medical certificate. You get class 2 certificate first then can apply for class 1 certificate. Class 2 medical certificate involve medical test like blood test, urine test, x-ray of chest, eye sight test, ear test, ECG also a review on your medical history. Your class 1 test will be taken by medical centre listed by DGCA.
