PIM-MAT Pattern

Yes, PIM MAT exam consists of negative marking. As per the PIM MAT marking scheme there will be negative marking for any wrong answers, and 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer. Check the details below:

The PIM MAT exam pattern 2026 includes a total of 200 questions, which are divided into five sections viz., Verbal Ability, Current Affairs, Data Interpretation, Business Mathematics and Logical Reasoning. The breakup of the questions is as follows:

• Verbal Ability: 40 questions
• Current Affairs: 40 questions
• Data Interpretation: 40 questions
• Business Mathematics: 40 questions
• Logical Reasoning: 40 questions

PIM MAT 2026 will be conducted for a duration of 120 minutes/ 2 hours, and each question carries 1 mark. 1/3 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. The medium of the exam is English, and it is an offline test.

The PIM MAT exam is conducted offline, and candidates must fill the PIM MAT 2026 application form online. The exam will be held in offline mode, and registered candidates can know their alloted exam centre and date of examination when PIM MAT admit card is issued. The PIM MAT 2026 admit card will be tentatively in first week of June.

Candidates must report at the alloted PIM MAT exam centre one hour prior to the given time of examination. Candidates must follow the exam day guidelines to appear for the PIM MAT 2026 exam. The exam will be held in second week of June.

PIM-MAT 2026 exam pattern has been prescribed by the authorities. As per the exam pattern, the question paper will consist of 200 objective type questions. The question paper will be divided across five sections- Logic, Verbal Ability, Current Affairs Data Interpretation and Business Mathematics. Candidates will be provided with OMR sheets to mark the correct option. The exam will be conducted for a duration of two hours to attend all five sections of PIM-MAT.
