Plaksha University

Plaksha University is a private university and has a huge campus in Punjab. The college is famous for its Engineering programme. It was established in 2021 under the Punjab State Private Universities Policy of 2010. The university has partnered with leading universities around the world such as Purdue University, UC San Diego, Penn Engineering, Cornell University, etc.

According to the Plaksha University BTech placement brochure of 2025, the students of the BTech in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence secured the most number of placements.

The brochure mentions that there were 40 students of BTech in CSAI who were eligible for placments. Out of these eligible students, 31 got placed successfully. 

The Plaksha University BTech students are charged INR 1.55 Lacs as hostel fees. Aside from the hostel fees, students are also required to pay INR 72,000 as meal plan fees, bringing the total hostel fees to INR 2.27 lakh. The hostel fees is charged on per semester basis. However, the method of charging the meal plan fees is unknown.

The total tuition fees for the BTech courses is INR 8.4 Lacs in the year 2026 at Plaksha University. The aforementioned BTech tuition fees is charged on a per semester basis by Plaksha University from every student. 

Each instalment charges INR 1.05 Lacs that must be paid at the beginning of each semester of the BTech course. If the candidate is able to secure some scholarships, they will be required to pay around 25% - 100% less tuition fees for the Plaksha University BTech courses. 

The decision release date for Round two of BTech admissions at Plaksha University will be different depending on when the candidates decided to apply for BTech admission. The official website stats that the decision will be rendered between 25th February and 26th March 2026 for round two of BTech admissions.

Plaksha University offers Young Technology Scholarships two-week residential summer programme. Candidates who are selected for this course have to pay a fee of INR 97,500 + GST to confirm their seat.

Plaksha University admissions usually start in September every year with application process. The application closes by the second week of October. The university conducts a written test for PhD admission in November. 

Plaksha University offers a four-year BTech programme at the UG level in various specialisations. The university also offers MS in AI, PhD courses. The university further offers summer programmes, including the two-week Young Technology Scholars (YTS) and the one-week Young Data Scientists (YDS) summer courses. Candidates can apply online for the preferred programme.
