Well, a few years ago a junior at my school came to clarify the same doubt
I suggested pursuing B.Tech (CS) from LPU, though he was quite a brilliant guy having 80+ in 12th and 99 marks in Cs in class 12th. So, I strongly recommended him for LPU.
LPU is a mammoth in infrastructure and global in reach. There might be many things that may divert a student from studying, but not negative sense, I told him about these factors which would divert his focus in LPU.
So at final, as he was sincerely followed all the things and as a result, he got placed in AMAZON INDIA with CTC INR 16 Lacs.
Although there were other companies which also visited campus for recruitment, companies like.
Cognizant, Wipro,TCS, Infosys, L&T infotech, and many more.
Now ,LPU is ranked under 100 in the university NIRF ranking for 2020.

Lovely Professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. The number of admissions in the CSE department has increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. I am saying this because I had completed the same course from Lovely Professional University, Reviews are pretty good. Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of the students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. I don't know much about Jecrc, Poornima University, However, I can share the details of LPU. Mittal School of Business is among the first 10 institutions in India to get ACBSP (USA) accreditation, Mittal School of Business ranked among the top 40 Management institutions in India, as per NIRF ranking 2021. The curriculum is made keeping in mind the current market trends. The placements are 100%, and students have special placement-oriented classes that serve as a booster for students to clear the exam and interview. Companies like Hyatt, Ritz Carlton, Adani Wilmar, Altruist, Al-Rakha, Dharam Consultancy selected LPU students for International locations. The highest package availed is 21 LPA. More than 650 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment with an average of 5-12 LPA packages and the highest package was 21LPA.
