You must go through the WB HS syllabus and exam pattern for all subjects. Segregate the chapter and plan your days ahead for covering each topic thoroughly. Get all your doubts cleared by your teachers and peers. Solve WBCHSE sample papers to know the kind of questions that have a good chance to get repeated.

In the last months for IIAD exam
Don't start any new topics as it will eat into your preparation time.
If you have already completed the rest of the topics, may be you can start a new topic. But again you need to be cautious
Do timely revision and focus more on the difficult topics
Solve sample papers
Take mock tests
Eat and stay healthy

Given that UCEED is one of the most important and the toughest design entrance exams in the country, one should not wait till the last moments to prepare for the exam. Ideally, the candidate should have at least an year to prepare for the exam. That being said, if the candidate has above average understand of the basics, he or she can easily prepare for the exam in six months. When preparing for the exam, it is important to have a target in mind. For example, the merit rank the candidate wants to achieve. Note that the cut-off rank varies from one institute to another.

The CEED 2026 exam will be conducted on January 18, 2026. So, the candidate has a little more than 6 months to prepare for the exam. You will ideally need 6 months to prepare for the exam. That being said, if your fundamentals are strong, you can cover the syllabus in less time. To start your preparation, go through the revised syllabus and pattern, and draft a plan.
