PGDM i.e. post graduate diploma in management is provided by institutes that are approved by AICTE (Government of India, All India Council for Technical Education). In most of the cases PGDM is considered to be better than MBA and main reasons are: 1) the PGDM course curriculum is updated yearly whereas in case of MBA the course curriculum is updated after every 5-10 years (depending on the university 2) PGDM is more concerned with the practicalities of the study and MBA is more theory oriented. Ranking wise Welingkar is above Dalmia anytime. This calls for better placements. Don't have much knowledge about Dalmia though.

There are no cutoffs, the selection is totally based on profile and GD-WAT-PI and group activity along with psychometric tests. For placements, you'll have to check the website and it is suggested to contact the alumni or current students. All the best.
