Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering is an educational private, non-profit institution which is a part of a private university i.e. University of Chicago. Earlier PME was just an Engineering programme known as the Institute for Molecular Engineering but later due to much success, the institute expanded which led to the emergence of Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering. In 2019, the institute was elevated to the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering and was recognised as the first school in the nation dedicated to this emerging field.

The acceptance rate of Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering is 29%. This shows that it is a bit competitive for students to get admissions at this school of Engineering. The students must precisely meet all the eligibility criteria if they need admission in PME. But the good part for the students is that there is no need for GRE/GMAT.

International students who wish to study in the USA at the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering must have a US students visa.

The Engineering programme was established as the Institute for Molecular Engineering in 2011 by the University of Chicago. In 2019, in recognition of the success, impact, and expansion, and the support of the Pritzker Foundation, the institute was elevated to the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering—the first school in the nation dedicated to this emerging field. &nbs
