Yes, admission to the MBA/PGDM programme at MIBM Pune can be taken without MAT. Scores of entrance tests such as CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT, and MAH CET are considered by the institute. A bachelor's degree (general category 50%, reserved category 45%) is the eligibility criteria. The final selection will be on a written competency test, group discussion, and personal interview. If you hold a valid score in any one of the acceptable exams (MAT excepted), you are not excluded. It is DTE's Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for Maharashtra, where preference is to entrance scores and performance in subsequent selection rounds. MAT is optional but not necessary.
