PSG College of Technology (often abbreviated as PSG Tech) is an autonomous, government aided, private engineering college in Coimbatore, India. It is affiliated with Anna University.

PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore was established in 1947 by the PSG Sons’ & Charities Trust. It has been graded ‘A’ by NAAC, approved by UGC, and recognised by AICTE.

It offers 42 UG programmes, 2 B.Voc. Programmes, and 28 PG courses. It also offers a five-year integrated PG course, 5 PG Diploma, M.Phil/PhD, and Diploma programs. Yes, only for self-financing courses, based upon the aggregate score secured by the candidate. Candidates seeking admission to PSG College of Arts and Science courses are required to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria set by the college for their desired course. The eligibility criteria for candidates applying for UG aided/self-financed programmes are different depending upon the course they choose. The selection process for UG programmes is based on merit/scores obtained in the qualifying examination.

 The selection is based on marks and community. In addition, cut off marks are taken out of 400 (other than English and Language marks). English and Tamil marks are taken as cutoff marks only for BA English and BA Tamil admission.

M.PhilCandidates having a minimum of 55% marks and above in the Master's degree and working as Full- time Research Fellows / Technical Assistants / Research Assistants in time-bound research schemes of one year duration or more in the University Departments / Research Departments of Affiliated Colleges / Research Institutions approved by the University shall be eligible to pursue the course leading to M.Phil., Degree.A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade may be allowed for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/differently-abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of UGC from time to time and for the candidates who had obtained their Master's degree prior to September 19, 1991. The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based only on the qualifying marks
Ph.D.The candidates should have passed a post-graduate degree course either with SSLC + HSC + UG + PG (i.e., 10 + 2 + 3 + 2) or with 11-years SSLC + PUC + UG + PG (i.e., 11 + 1 + 3 + 2) or with 10-years SSLC + 3 years Diploma + 2 years UG degree + 2 years PG (i.e., 10 + 3 + 2 + 2) or with 10 years SSLC + HSC + 4 years UG degree and 1 year PG degree (i.e., 10 + 2 + 4 + 1). Thus, only the candidates possessing a PG degree with 17 years of total duration of study alone are eligiblefor admission to the Ph.D., programme.The candidates possessing professional degrees such as M.E., and M.Tech., and PG degree in Medicine, Law, Agriculture and similar other professional courses are not eligible for admission to the Ph.D., programs of the University.
B.ComCandidate must have passed 10+2 with Commerce and Accountancy from a recognised board.
B.Sc.Candidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognised board.
BBACandidate must have passed in Higher Secondary examination or equivalent with commerce and Accountancy from any Board/Council recognised by the University
B.A.Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised school/board.
BCACandidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised school/board.
M.Sc.Candidate must have completed graduation from a recognised university.
M.J.M.C.Candidate must have completed graduation from a recognised university
