Yes, if you want to take admission in PU then it is mandatory but if you want to take admission in private colleges, then mostly you can get admission by just filling an admission form.

Apart from the PU CET (UG) 2026 admit card, candidates needed to carry the following documents and objects:

  • Any government-issued original photo identity card such as PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, Driving License, Ration Card, Passport, etc.

  • PwD or PwBD Card issued by Competent Authority (if applicable)

No, you cannot present a digital copy of your PU CET UG admit card in place of the original at the exam centre. Only the hard copy or the printout of the admit card will be accepted at the centre.

No. Candidates will have to download the PU CET UG 2026 admit card online. The admit card will not be sent to the candidate via mail, post or courier. Students need to download their PU CET (UG) admit card through the website (https://cetug.puchd.ac.in/), which requires students to login with their credentials to download and print it. There's generally no offline issuance of the admit card.

Candiates who had completed their class 12 examination or will be completing in the coming up acadmeic session cycle, will be able to appear in the PU CET UG 2025 examination.

In order to prepare well in the examiantion to get the desired course and admisions to the Panjab University candidates need to meticulously understand the PU CET UG 2025 styllabus which is being mentioned by the exam officials.

Candidates will be able to check out the PU CET UG 2025 syllabus by checking on this Shiksha page or directly visit the PU CET UG officail webiste and download the information brochure.

PU CET (UG) 2026 will be conducted on May 10. Tests will be conducted for subjects of Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.  The PU CET (UG) exam conducts once a year typically in the month of march or april. Students advised to check the website regularly for the latest updates.

The only platform of paying the PU CET (UG) application fee is via online mode. So far, the examination conducting body has not mentioned about paying the application fee offline.

The online way of paying the application fee of PU CET (UG) examination is through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI Services. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate (in addition to the examination fee) by the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator. The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment by the
Candidate.
