PICT placements offer the highest package in 2022 with Microsoft offering INR 44,92 Lacs per annum. In previous years, PICT placements offered the highest package in 2021 with INR 36,5 Lacs per year, in 2020 with INR 43,33 Lacs per year and in an unspecified year with PhonePe offering INR 33,14 Lacs per year.

No, the SET exam cannot be given remotely. Every year the SET exam is conducted in the computer-based test mode. In 2021, the exam was however conducted in the internet-based test mode because of the coronavirus pandemic. Ever since, the SET exam has always been conducted in the computer-based test mode (CBT). To take the exam, candidates have to visit the SET exam centre and take the exam online. They can choose upto three preferred SET test cities during the SET exam registration. Talking in terms of placements both Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management and VIT Pune  offers good packages- Vishwakarma Institute of Technology have remarkable placement histories. For the year 2022, VIT Pune reported an average package of INR 4.77 LPA and a the highest package of INR 9 LPA. The highest package for the previous year was INR 33.75 LPA. On the other hand, Shri Ramdeobaba College reported an average package of INR 9.8 LPA and the highest package of INR 48 LPA for the year 2023.
