The NAAC has accredited the private MIT School of Engineering Pune, which is connected to Savitribai Phule Pune University in India. It provides Btech and Mtech undergraduate and graduate engineering and management programs in a variety of fields. The engineering programs are associated with Savitribai Phule Pune University and have received approval from the AICTE.

SCMS Pune is one of the top notch private management colleges in Western India. Ranked at number 3 in the country and number 2 in western India among private colleges, SCMS Pune is one of those Institutions which shows a promising academic and non-academic life for the students. SCMS Pune is an autonomus governing body, that is, the management is completely separate and private. The Institution has a board that governs its management and have no intervention from govt.

The candidates who want to check their merit list must visit the official website of Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research Pune, there they will get the options for checking the merit list of different- different branches.
The student who appeared for the SNAP, SET, OEE exam and even qualified it will get the chance to go to the counseling round and further more if a student passed the criteria given by the institute will have his / here name in the respective merit list of the college.

In the new genre, every institute has established the procedure of conducting entrance exam for the admission process.
Although for seeking admission in Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research Pune, every candidate willing to take admission has to give SNAP ( Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) for the postgraduate level degree . A candidate must score atleast 80 to 85 or 90 percentile to qualify the test and reserve a seat for admission and counseling process.
Besides this if a student has to take admission in undergraduate level he or she has to give SET exam (State Eligibility Test) for the institute.
