CAT is one of the accepted exams for MBA course admissions. However, it is not compulsory to have this exam score for selection. ISMS Pune accept other national-level exam scores as well, such as CMAT/MAHCET/ATMA/MAT, etc. Candidates with a valid score of an entrance exam conducted for MBA by deemed universities can also apply. Apart from this, the aspirant must fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements.

Candidates who apply for courses such as BBA, BA, BSc BCA and BPES do not need to pass entrance exam and are selected based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. Such aspirants have to pass a personal interview round for admission. However, admission to all other courses require qualifying any of the accepted entrance exam.
